Pregnancy Yoga
**You are entitled to paid time off work for antenatal care, including pregnancy yoga classes, when supported by your midwife or GP**
Get to know and understand the changes your body is going through, connect with your baby in a relaxing series of postures that will also bring you so much needed strength, flexibility, courage and peace of mind.
Yoga during pregnancy can help you with issues like swelling, cramps, sickness and mood changes.
Practising Yoga naturally massages the abdomen and helps with baby positioning.
Finally, it lifts the overall energy level and has a direct influence on pelvic opening which is a great help during childbirth.
There are few things as inspiring as the feeling of being in a total union with your baby with every breath and movement you take.
Sensing your baby's own response to the exercises and experiencing a total relaxation in a moment reserved exclusively for you are precious as well.
All future mums are welcome to this class whether they've practised Yoga before the pregnancy or not.
Classes take place weekly on:
- Mondays 6-7pm with Kat
- Thursdays 530-645pm with Penny
Group size
In our sessions, we take up to 8 people.
This gives the opportunity for each practitioner to make the most out of each class with teacher being able to recognize and fulfil all the individual needs.
Private classes
If you would like to deepen your practise or for any reason you can't attend regular group classes then private classes could be the best solution for you.
Every class is created in consultation with practitioner and according to their individual needs.
Please enquire about private and semi private sessions for you or a group of friends.
Prices:
- 8 class pass valid for 9 weeks for the 60-minute classes - £80
- 8 class pass valid for 9 weeks for the 75-minute classes - £96
*In our yoga sessions, we also use deep relaxation. We also offer a specific Relax and Breathe Yoga for Third Trimester Pregnancy. You can download the recordings of our gentle guided meditation hypnobirthing scripts on our Relax and Breathe Birthing website. The recordings are read by Independent Midwife Jenny Patterson and are set to a relaxing soundtrack, Warm Heart, by Silencio Music. *
