I became a massage therapist in 2006 after studying therapeutic massage in Peebles. During this course, I discovered my passion for helping my clients move towards optimal health and so I completed my Sports and Remedial Massage Training in 2007.

In my treatments, I use a wide variety of techniques, treating muscles, fascia and joints through therapeutic and deep tissue massage, which includes neuromuscular and trigger point techniques, hands-free massage, assisted stretching and muscle energy techniques. I also specialise in Pregnancy and Postnatal massage, Oncology Massage for people living with Cancer and their families.

I love to keep active, and strive to stay fit and healthy. I especially enjoy running and long distance swimming. I'm a member of the Edinburgh Running Network and have loved making friends and enjoying a wide range of running-based adventures over the years, including the Berlin, London and Inverness Marathons, Outlaw Half-Iron Man and the Chillswim 5.2 mile swim, the length of Coniston Water in the Lake district. Personally, I experience great benefits from receiving regular massage treatment in both preventing injury and enhancing performance.

I am delighted to be Co-Director and Massage Trainer at KnotStressed Therapies, working alongside Onie Tibbitt and our wonderful team of therapists. Together, we have created a beautiful clinic, a true haven in the city, catering to all walks of life and this makes me feel immensely proud.

I am also a keen potter. I make aesthetically-pleasing and functional porcelain tableware in my pottery studio.
