Mind Body Pain Management with Lynne

Have you spent months or years trying to get rid of pain using only a physical approach? Exploring the mind-body connection together to understand your unique pain experience including how past experiences influence our current pain patterns will allow you to find your keys to unlocking chronic pain.

Every person's journey with pain is unique. Long term or chronic pain is officially described as pain that has lasted more than three months. When pain becomes chronic, a mind-body approach is helpful. We look at a shift in focus from just the physical structures to the nervous system, life stressors and emotional factors. This can range from looking at the impact of pain on everyday life to areas such as self-compassion, traumatic events and even the language that has been used to describe your condition eg crumbling spine can contribute to keeping someone stuck in the chronic pain cycle.

The mind-body approach is both educational, science-based and self-empowering and can benefit conditions such as back pain, repetitive strain, fibromyalgia, Irritable bowel syndrome, migraines and many more.

The sessions are run by Lynne Sutherland. Lynne has over 25 years experience as a Physiotherapist within the NHS including a Pain Coaching role along with her wider experience as a Mindbody Coach

Sessions take place online from the comfort of your own home.
