I've always been fascinated with life's transitions. I consider it a great honour and a real joy through my work at KnotStressed Therapies to be able to help build confidence and support families through pregnancy, birth and beyond.

In addition to my work at KnotStressed, I am an Independent Celebrant. I believe deeply that families should be able to decide how and where they choose to mark the momentous occasions in their lives, however big or small, religious or secular, traditional or unconventional. There is something utterly beautiful about bringing together individuals with different beliefs, views and life experiences and honouring these beliefs in a shared, life-affirming and celebratory ceremony.

KnotStressed Therapies began following the birth of my daughter, Freya, in 2003 and has evolved over the years alongside my interests and experiences with my children. I have a second daughter, Mairin, who was born in 2009.

I feel incredibly fortunate to be working with my fabulous KnotStressed Co-Director, Krista Black, and to be able to work with all the talented practitioners who have joined our team.  Thanks to their involvement, we offer a far wider range of sports/remedial and wellbeing services for our clients.

Over the years we have developed our industry-leading, accredited Training Programmes. I love sharing skills through these courses and feel grateful to be able to meet and spend time with so many wonderful practitioners from all over the country.

My background and previous careers were in Zoology and Biological Sciences, Resource Management and Conservation, Environmental Education, Event Management, Marketing and Publishing.

I am also an aspiring writer and am enjoying (finally!) making time to work on a series of eco-fiction books for young readers.
