Kirsty MacKellar, Massage Therapist
My name is Kirsty Mackellar and I am Remedial Massage Therapist and Reflexologist in Edinburgh. I first began my journey in wellbeing by completing a BSc in Psychology, however I was unsure of the specific route I wanted to go down so I packed a bag and explored parts of the world for 3 years. It was during my time in New Zealand and Australia that I fell in love with Complementary Therapies and Bodywork and I've never looked back.
I qualified in Reflexology first then completed a range of Massage/ Bodywork courses and I intend to keep expanding my knowledge as I love learn about the body and mind. I absolutely adore my 'job' as a Therapist as all I've ever wanted to do is help others and I find great satisfaction in assisting others on their journey of wellbeing.
Having completed a range of courses with the renowned establishment, Jing School of Advanced Massage, my style of treatments are a fusion of Eastern and Western techniques that means they are both clinically efficient and relaxing.
In my free time I love being outdoors and anything that gets me moving so I often cycle, run, hike, practice yoga, do HIIT workouts, camp and explore new place and I am looking to start Wild Swimming soon.
I'm also extremely passionate about the health of the planet and I'm always interested in hearing ways to lead a more sustainable lifestyle and ways to really make a difference.
