Relax & Breathe Yoga for Birth

Calmly prepare for the birth of your baby, physically, mindfully and emotionally and meet other mums-to-be in our Edinburgh Relax & Breathe Yoga for Birth sessions combining gentle stretching and rhythmic movement with calm breathing and visualisations.

Who can benefit?

Classes are suitable for all pregnant women from 30 weeks. No experience of yoga or pregnancy yoga necessary.

Specific benefits include:

* deep relaxation and visualisation exercises from our Relax & Breathe Birthing hypnobirthing course will help you build positivity and calm so that you can look forward to the birth of your baby

* gentle stretching and yoga postures help promote pelvic opening and optimal fetal position for baby.

Group size:

We take up to 7 people in our classes, ensuring a friendly group and enabling the teacher to tailor the session to your individual needs.

I did both the pregnancy and third trimester yoga classes and was so happy with them. Penny became more than an instructor, by the end of my pregnancy she is a friend. The third trimester class not only got me stretching, moving and learning breathing techniques and positions for labour, but also provided a place to bond with other mums at similar stages, and have some time focusing on myself and my baby. It really was the hour I looked forward to most every week. I can’t wait to go back for the mum and baby course!
