Mum & Baby Yoga

Take some time to focus on yourself, in the company of your little one. Our Edinburgh Mum & Baby Yoga can help you heal, strengthen and nurture yourself after the transformative process of childbirth and the challenges becoming a new mother. Our small, friendly classes are also a lovely way to meet other new mums and babies.

Who will benefit?

It is important to rest initially. The first 6 weeks after birth are a time for bonding and recovery. By the end of the first eight weeks of the postnatal period, women often feel ready to return to their regular practice but it is important to listen to what your body is ready to do.This class is suitable for babies aged 6 weeks to pre-crawling.

Group Size:

In our sessions, we take up to 6 people, ensuring a friendly class and allowing the teacher to individually tailor the session.

These sessions are lead by Penny


Classes run weekly on Tuesdays. Upcoming blocks:

  • Tuesday 20th November - 18th December  from 10.15-11.15am (5 week block)

  • Tuesday 5th February - 5th March from 10.15-11.15am (5 week block)

  • Tuesday 19th March - 16th April from 10-11am (5 week block)
    Tuesday 2nd July - 30th July from 10-11am (5 week block)


    £50 per 5-week block

I have done a number of classes at KnotStressed including Pregnancy & Postnatal Yoga, and Mum & Baby Yoga. They have all been fabulous and something to look forward too in the week. Lovely small groups and warm friendly setting with time to relax and enjoy a cuppa to unwind from daily stress. I’ve also had massages at KnotStressed and they have always been wonderfully relaxing and healing.
